
Lake Clear native named to biathlon roster

LAKE PLACID — U.S. Biathlon recently announced its 16 athletes who will represent the United States on the World Cup and IBU Cup circuits for trimester one. The roster includes Lake Clear native Jackie Garso.
With four start positions for women and men on both the World Cup and IBU Cup, eight athletes will travel to World Cup 1 in Kontiolahti, Finland to begin the season on Saturday, and eight athletes will head to Idre Fjäll, Sweden for IBU Cup 1, kicking things off on Nov. 28.
