Juni Arnekleiv, a prominent biathlete, has confirmed that she will not participate in Thursday’s World Cup sprint event taking place in Oberhof, Germany, due to illness. This announcement, reported by TV 2, indicates that the athlete continues to face challenges following her earlier withdrawal from competitions in France just before Christmas due to a difficult season start. Moreover, her condition will prevent her from participating in the pursuit race on Saturday, which is contingent upon the results of Thursday’s event. Other Norwegian participants scheduled for the event include Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, Karoline Knotten, Gro Randby, Ida Lien, and Maren Kirkeeide.
