Inkki Inola's season has been his best ever, highlighted by two World Championship bronze medals and a second place in the World Cup, promising a bright future leading into the upcoming Paralympic Games in Milan.
Inkki secured his second World Championship medal in Trondheim, reflecting his hard work and determination throughout the season. His family, particularly his mother Mervi Koukka, has been instrumental in this journey. Mervi, herself a former competitive skier and runner, emphasized the pride she feels for her son, who has overcome many challenges and showcased his abilities to the world.
Inola began his sports career early, from local skiing competitions at just five years old, guided by his supportive family. He originally tried different sports but ultimately found his passion in skiing, spurred on by a strong sense of competition within his family.
