France's biathlon team exhibited an almost flawless performance in the relay competition on Sunday, easily outpacing their rivals. Émilien Jacquelin made a strong comeback after a difficult previous event, demonstrating his prowess in the final stages of the race. With three error-free legs completed by the French team, Jacquelin emerged with a massive lead before finishing. Though he had to use both of France's allowed extra shots in the final round, his early lead was too substantial for Norway's Johannes Thingnes Bø to overcome.

Jacquelin started over 41 seconds ahead of Bø, ultimately allowing him to control the race and secure victory confidently. This win marked a redemption for Jacquelin, who had previously lost a large advantage in a mixed relay event.

Tarjei Bø remarked post-race that France's impressive performance likely boosted their confidence, indicating that the Norwegian team must learn from this to maintain their dominant position in future competitions. Norway secured second place, thanks in part to Bø's solid shooting, while Sweden maintained a strong hold on third, attributed to Sebastian Samuelsson's reliability, despite his needing two extra shots.

The Norwegian team also included Sturla Holm Lægreid, Tarjei Bø, and Endre Strømsheim.
