Elvira Öberg is facing a setback as she withdraws from the Ski Biathlon Competition at Stockholm's stadium tomorrow night. The ski federation's press officer Emma Höglund stated, "She is not quite 100%, and wants to be safe rather than sorry."
Johanna Skottheim will take Öberg's place, competing with Sebastian Samuelsson. Öberg had been sick prior to the World Championships, but this is a new issue, not a relapse.
On another note, the second Swedish team will feature Hanna Öberg and her partner Martin Ponsiluoma, while the third will consist of Anna Magnusson and Jesper Nelin. The competition will be broadcast live on SVT2 and SVT Play from 18:00 to 20:00 on Monday.
