Bø noted the emotional nature of the weekend, especially after a previous loss to France in the sprint. He celebrated returning to the top of the podium after the race, emphasizing the unpredictability of the sport, which he loves.

Bø mentioned, "It has been a (week) for the memory books. It has been a very emotional weekend. Yesterday we were beaten by France, and today we are back on top. That's what biathlon is, you never know what will happen."
