Biathlon: Special Gift for Preuß

Franziska Preuß had a stellar winter season, achieving significant successes in biathlon. To celebrate these accomplishments, her ski supplier Rossignol presented her with a special gift.

Preuß dominated the 2024/25 season, notably winning the overall World Cup and four medals at the Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide, including gold in the pursuit event. To honor her achievements, Rossignol gave her a pair of skis decorated in the German colors of black, red, and gold.

These skis not only celebrate her success but also list her victories from the past winter, including her title as overall World Cup champion, her gold medal in the pursuit, and bronze medals in both the mixed team event and single mixed relay. Preuß shared a photo of her new skis on her Instagram account, showcasing her pride in this unique gift.

At the event where she received her skis, fellow athletes like Swedish cross-country skier Joanna Sundling, who was also a monumental performer at the Nordic Ski World Championships, were present, receiving similar skis in the colors of the Swedish flag. The event allowed athletes to visit the workshop where their equipment is made, putting them in direct contact with the brand’s staff.
