Preuß Shines with Strong Running Performance
On Saturday, Preuß missed out on a podium finish by just 0.1 seconds in the sprint, won by the flawless Czech competitor Marketa Davidova. Preuß excelled in the course, finishing 29.3 seconds behind.
In an interview with ARD, Preuß expressed, "The placement is good, but I’m disappointed about the one error. I wanted to shoot zero."
Preuß will have a chance for a better result in the mass start on Sunday.
Nawrath Aiming to Build on Success
Nawrath also aims to build on his success after finishing third in the sprint, seeking redemption for the previous individual race disappointment of the German men.
Both ARD and ZDF will broadcast the biathlon competitions this season. On Sunday, ARD will air the races for both men and women in full, starting at 14:30. Eurosport will also show the races live.
