Elvira Öberg has received praise for her outstanding performance, showing she can clinch victories in the competitions at Lenzerheide. Over the weekend, Elvira exhibited contrasting performances—after experiencing a setback with a penalty lap that led to a fifth-place finish on Saturday, she bounced back with flawless shooting and a decisive victory in the mass start event on Sunday.
SVT's experts unanimously agreed on the significance of her comeback, regarding it as a testament to her strong form ahead of the World Championships slated for February 12–23 in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.
Björn Ferry, an expert at SVT, commented, "We witnessed a clear focus from Elvira. Her performance this weekend sets a strong precedent for her in the World Championships. She really has a chance to win all competitions there."
Additionally, Mona Brorsson expressed admiration for Elvira’s ability to channel a previous bad performance into a motivating force, stating, "Elvira can truly take these less favorable events, build almost a little anger from them, and then produce such top performances as she did on Sunday."
With the World Championships just around the corner, all eyes will be on Elvira Öberg as she aims to capitalize on her recent success and showcase her talent on the larger stage.
