The premiere of biathlon at Stockholm Stadium last year was a huge success, attracting over 10,000 spectators who witnessed an exciting sprint relay. It has now been confirmed that the Biathlon Showdown will return to Stockholm Stadium on March 3, 2025.

French multi-Olympic and World Championship medalist Justine Braizas-Bouchet expressed her excitement after last year's competition, stating, "It was a fantastic event for us who were there, and I really hope the Biathlon Showdown in Stockholm will return every year from now on."

To improve the experience for attendees next year, the organizers plan to enhance various aspects of the event. "We want to create an even more spectacular experience for the attendees," said event manager Jan Kowalski. The event will take place after the World Championships in Lenzerheide, scheduled for February 12-23, and will be broadcast on SVT.
