At the Norwegian Summer Championships held in Lillehammer, Tarjei Bö faced yet another disappointment in the mass start event, failing to secure a spot on the podium.
Struggling with his shooting, Tarjei finished in seventh place after committing two errors. The race was once again claimed by Johan-Olav Botn, who triumphed ahead of Martin Uldal and Vejbörn Sörum.
Previously, Tarjei found himself in 35th place during the sprint competition, marred by four shooting mistakes. His younger brother, Johannes Thingnes Bö, chose to sit out the event due to a cold acquired during training. In an Instagram update, Johannes shared his optimism about returning to action, stating, "Unfortunately, I have caught a cold, so I will not be racing this weekend."
In the women's mass start, Karoline Knotten celebrated another victory, finishing ahead of Ragnhild Femsteinevik, with Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold claiming third place.
